Making Monday #74

Welcome to Making Monday.

Wow! I can hardly believe how many of you bloggers joined this link-up party!! Welcome ~ I'm really looking forward to becoming more acquainted with you.
I've had so much fun this past week going through each link-up and looking at all of your blogs. I absolutely LOVE them all. You're all so talented and have something unique to share and I'm so glad to have each of you as blogging friends. I'm looking forward to trying out lots of new recipes, re-reading posts that uplift and edify me, and making some new things for my home and gift-giving.

This is a party where you can find fun new creative ideas and tasty recipes shared by amazingly talented people. Every Monday bloggers stop by to link up their posts and share with all you party goers. By joining in {both bloggers and non-bloggers} you will discover new blogs, be inspired to make something new, try a yummy new recipe, and most importantly make new friends!
This party is hosted by Gracie and me, and your projects will be shared on both of our blogs. We love that you're here and we love featuring you on our social media so be sure to follow us so you can see if your post gets shared!

We also pin to our Making Monday Pinterest board and we'd love to have you follow along! This is a place you can find projects from all the previous parties, too, so it is like a party every day!

The Studio @ FKR : Call To Artists

Hello everyone!
The Studio at Flying King Ranch in York, SC is back and ready to introduce many new artists to the community! If you aren't familiar with The Studio yet please be sure to click on over and get all the details and lots of amazing pictures HERE. And those of you that just want a quick overview, here it is :)

The Studio was opened at the end of October 2014. It is located on the stunning Flying King Ranch in York, SC. Flying King Ranch is a land mark in York and the owners have decided to invite the community to enjoy the ranch up close. Part of this process was drawing the community in and what better way to do that than a boutique dedicated to artists from the community!  For the months of November and December The Studio was open 3 days a week and had 2 weekend events where everyone enjoyed some unique work and local refreshments. The goal of The Studio is to encourage local. Whether it is the food, paintings, pottery, jewelry or other handmade goods every item in the shop is created within a 4 hour radius of York, SC.

The reaction to The Studio was amazing and so we have decided to keep the momentum up with seasonal openings. By not being open everyday we are able to curate a beautiful selection of numerous different types of goods that you can't find any place else. We will be reopening for April and May with limited hours and multiple weekend events. More information on hours and events will be released closer to April.

If you are an artist or know an artist from SC, NC or GA we need you!
As stated above The Studio is a place where local artists can gain visibility and sales from the comminity. We want to have a wide range to reach all walks of life, so if your a potter, jewelry maker, knitter, painter, furniture builder, WHATEVER we want to hear from you!!

Please email at least 4 images of your work along with an inventory list and pricing of what you would be interested in placing in The Studio to langdon.gracie@gmail.com
We will be going through all submissions and choose pieces that we feel will work well together and create a wonderful array of artwork for the community. You should hear back from us within a week of your submission.

We are looking forward to seeing all of the talent we have surrounding the York community!
